Celebrating the spirit and culture of our Kwakwaka'wakw Ancestors
The Gwa'wina Dancers is a professional adult dance group. Our members are from many of the 16 tribes of the Kwakwaka'wakw people of the west coast of British Columbia, Canada.
Our dances are traditional dances, each telling a story or legend that is part of our rich heritage. We faithfully perform each dance as our ancestors did. We sing the songs as they were originally composed, in our language Kwak'wala.
